World Marketing Group (WMG) was founded both as a mail house and a publications distribution center in 1982. From its humble beginnings, the group has progressed from a distribution mail house in Singapore to a global integrated marketing solutions provider.

As the UI/UX Designer in Coolasia Sdn Bhd, I was tasked to revamp their current mobile interface and improvise their user experience at the same time.

UI/UX Design

Upon receiving the task, I reviewed the current usability and interface to understand what are they trying to achieve. After laying out the current structure flow (since it wasn't documented), I studied the goal of each views and its purposes. Currently the app was available for Android while iOS was added later.

Since this app is not open to public, there's only one type of user group that will be using this application : drivers. I was informed that their user base are mid to elderly age who are not tech-driven, so creating a persona was quite straightforward. Since the users (client's drivers) are based in Singapore, it is difficult to conduct user interviews and gain feedback.

Wireframes are sketched on paper to revise the layout and design. Some elements need to be very clear to cater the age range of the user group aforementioned. On top of that, their situation and environment when using the app was also taken into consideration. After deciding which wireframe to use, the idea was later transferred to screen for designing and delivered to the mobile developer after getting approval from the stakeholders.
